Desperate Hours

Desperate Hours

by Malachi

(R. Jones/M. Trofa/G.Nigro/A. Carbo III/G.Scheffler)

Verse 1:

They say your heart is cold and shallow.

 And your soul is there, but hollow.

Your expression is hard and callous.

(bridge) The feeling is gone from your life.

Thanks to the grief, the fights and your strife.

(chorus) Now it's all just desperate hours, the body cowers.

 It's all just desperate hours, like Satan's power.

 It's all just desperate hours, like brittle flowers.

Now it's, desperate hours.

Verse 2:

They say your eyes are empty glasses.

 And you stare as your life passes.

 Your obsession with God has passed.

 (bridge 2)

The words that you speak are not true.

Why do you look with all the world's view?

(repeat chorus)

Verse 3:

You say you'll live with just a small taste.

 And your crime is that you're two faced.

 Deviation has been your downfall.

(bridge 3)

The way that you live is not much.

 God's gonna heal with his touch.

(Repeat Chorus)

Now it's Desperate Hours

Faithless..

  But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came. The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the LORD. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe. And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you. Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.

Watch What You Say/All Up In My Grill

No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD. Isaiah 54:17 (KJV)

I really needed this today.  I feel the flaming arrows of hate pursuing me.  Satan is and always will remain busy. I stand on my Savior and his promises.

The LORD is my light and my salvation;
         Whom shall I fear?
         The LORD is the strength of my life;
         Of whom shall I be afraid?
 When the wicked came against me
         To eat up my flesh,
         My enemies and foes,
         They stumbled and fell.
 Though an army may encamp against me,
         My heart shall not fear;
         Though war may rise against me,
         In this I will be confident.

Psalms 27:1-3

I don't think those who plot and conspire against me understand. I serve a Savior who conquered death and Hell. What you throw up against me is like fodder.
Step back..
